Michael Latessa is a tattoo artist in Somerset, WI. He grew up in St. Paul, MN and has always been interested in art- from classes in school, to tagging in the streets, and even drawing on friend's walls in their bedrooms. A self-described former "trouble maker", Mike went to prison for four plus years. While serving his sentence, Mike drew portraits and tattoo designs for fellow inmates to make a living. When Mike got out of prison, he decided to take his love of art and tattooing seriously and took steps to make his dreams a reality. Mike currently owns and operates Latessa Tattoo in Somerset, WI. In his first two years of business, Mike has already taken home numerous awards from conventions. To Mike, it is all about the art and creating great work no matter what the canvas is-people, paper, or t-shirts!
