Drew has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 3D Animation and has worked as a character animator and art director of animation. He recently had his first graphic novel The Gadarene published and it is slated for an October release. Calvin Hedge and the Iron Golem is Blom's second book. It is a creator-owned work that follows the tale of Calvin, a young mechanic in turn-of-the-century Boston who embarks on a journey to find an abandoned mine, but discovers something much more interesting. With anachronistic steamtechnology, romance and adventure, The Iron Golem is only the beginning of a series of adventures for young Calvin Hedge.
